Dear Friends: Pachamama Conservation wishes to express its eternal gratitude for your generous contribution, your volunteer work, at our Mapuche Video Project fundraiser onNovember 19, 2004. People like you make it possible for our organization to continue supporting the indigenous communities of Southern Chile, in their efforts to preserve the wisdom of a people who have maintained a harmonious and peaceful relationship with the earth for thousands of years. Thanks to your contribution, Pachamama Conservation can continue to support a number of Mapuche children and youth to continue their studies. It also helps the women of the communities in their search for self-sufficiency by buying the needed materials to weave their beautifully crafted blankets and ponchos. The "Mapuche Video Project" is another effort to aid the realization of these projects. In early January, we will travel to Chile to begin filming for the video. Our hope is that this video will help share the vision and the stories of the Mapuche people so they will gain more international support. The success of this project will depend on our efforts and the support of people like you, who give strength to the movement for self-empowerment of the Mapuche people, and help bring good and positive change to the global community as we look at the indigenous people's practice of respect for all life. We look forward to your continued support. With gratitude, Collaborators for the Video Project Ariel Lopez, Leila Salazar, Ana Bravo, Mario Bravo
